For all ages
To many, this is what music is all about - performers sharing their unique talents with an appreciative audience of teachers, family, friends and members of the general public. Our fully supervised concerts are the perfect way for all students to attain valuable live performance experience.
We encourage the performance aspect of music as it builds confidence and self-esteem, not to mention experience in performance.
There are various levels of performance with in-house concerts as well as performances to the general public at various venues throughout Perth and country areas. A major concert can attract as many as 800 people!
Performances are not reserved for advanced musicians - even beginners get the chance to perform in front of a crowd.
Award ceremonies
Every few weeks we host award ceremonies. These important events are held at one of our studios and are attended by up to 60 people including teachers, family and friends of students. The awards ceremony is followed by a short concert where the very best students are chosen to perform. Teachers also regularly perform at awards ceremonies.
Pre-exam concerts
These concerts are designed to help students practice their performance skills in a friendly, pre-examination environment. They are held periodically at one of our studios and teachers, family and friends are invited to attend. As students perform, members of the audience are encouraged to offer their opinions/insights on how to improve the performance for upcoming examinations.
End of term concerts
At the end of School Terms, individual teachers may organise a concert to showcase the talents of their students. These are very entertaining, and can include bands, ensembles, recitals and other acts. Our carefully managed concerts are a great way for newly formed bands to experience live performance under the watchful eye of their teachers. These larger concerts offer a secure pathway toward unsupervised professional appearances.
End of term concerts can be staged at our studios. Larger events are held at various venues throughout Perth and country areas.
