For 5 year olds to adult
Participants in our group guitar and keyboard lessons get to mix with others of similar ability and learn the fundamentals of their chosen instrument. Group tuition is a low-stress, cost-effective way to develop music skills, and provides a solid learning base for progression to individual lessons.
Our experience has proven that playing in a group helps to stimulate the learning process and to keep interest in the students learning career (especially at younger ages).
Professional studio setup for guitar and keyboard
Our state-of-the-art keyboard labs feature current-model keyboards. Students will progress at their own pace and share valuable one-on-one time with the teacher during the course of the group lesson. Our guitar labs also feature the latest equipment and we keep these classes to a maximum of 4 students.
Presentation days
Students are encouraged to attend presentation days at which they are invited to receive their Achievement Certificate. This should take a high priority as it builds self-esteem for the student.
What is the role of the student?
Our group classes are designed to be positive and non-conformist. In addition to set work, students are given the opportunity to choose their own music, from Chopin to Eric Clapton. Students who put their full attention into each lesson (and do their homework), will acquire the fundamental skills required to master their chosen instrument as well as have a great deal of fun!
What is the role of the teacher?
To positively reinforce learning objectives with their students and to act in a professional manner, always giving feedback on how the student is performing. It is our job to teach to the best possible level without compromising the fun and enthusiasm music can provide.
